Ghent University's English Vocabulary Test Poses Real and Fake Words

The English vocabulary test released by Ghent University is an interesting online resource that both gives users an idea of the extent of their vocabulary and provides researchers with valuable data relating to native speaking. As opposed to many other vocabulary tests that assess whether or not people know the definition of a given word, the English vocabulary test from Ghent University asks users to rate whether or not the word on screen is part of the English language.
