Target is Offering Free Lyft Rides and Time off for Vaccines

Retail giant Target recently announced it will offer its employees four hours of paid leave alongside a free 'Lyft' ride to ensure its workers can get access to the COVID-19 vaccination. Employees will have two hours for each vaccine dose as well as a maximum of $15 in Lyft credits each way. In addition, the department store also announced plans on providing doses to its workers at CVS pharmacies – 1,700 of which are located inside Target stores and distribution centers.

"As more vaccines become available, especially for frontline and essential workers, we’ll help our team members across the country get the information and access they need," said Melissa Kremer, the chief human resources officer at Target.
