The whole concept of emotion is though to be abstract. One does not simply quantify love fear and pride on some sort of emotion chart. Well it turns out we were wrong and we actually do that now so thank you science.
Finnish scientists have come up with a chart that shows the body and how emotion is felt in relation to different parts of the body. What this means is that it shows in what body parts primary and secondary emotions are shown.
This entire idea is crazy but I mean it's science and they have a chart; who am I to argue with an emotion chart? It shows that feelings like love and happiness are felt all over while things like depression are pretty much the opposite and are sort of like a shut down mode for your feelings, which seems about right.
Implications - Scientific breakthroughs are always relevant. When it provides insight into the human condition it’s even moreso.
