Katie Roberts-Wood, a creative fashion designer who holds accreditation from the Royal College of Art in the UK, revealed a number of boldly embellished designs on the runway in London.
All the pieces from her Spring/Summer 2017 collection are incredibly diverse -- returning a little to the Victorian era for an overall aesthetic that's overtly elegant. While many of her styles show the runway's muses covered completely, a select few ensembles left them much more exposed -- offering a contrast to the rest of the pieces in a complementary way.
Overall, Katie Roberts-Wood's embellished designs were cohesively theatrical -- however in a way that maintained a certain subtly. This is something that largely came from her use of simplistic color palettes, which paired perfectly with the frills.
