Ellice Cafe & Theatre is a Hub of Activities and Delicacies

The walls at the Ellice Café & Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba are often filled with children's art. It's a well-rounded place, a place that afford affordable food and performances, films, concerts and drama. The theatre component isn't just for performance, however, as the team is marketing it as a space for a business meeting.

New Life Ministries is behind the Ellice Café & Theatre project, which they opened in February of 2005. The sales from the restaurant go toward subsidizing the New Life Ministries' low-income food service program. The cafe doesn't serve alcohol, as an active attempt to provide those in recovery with a "dry" space to come together and chill out.
