This Komatsu Truck is the World's Biggest Electric Vehicle

Japanese construction and mining equipment manufacturer Komatsu is set to launch an extraordinary new electric dump truck, the Komatsu HD 605-7, which is set to claim the tag of being the world's biggest electric vehicle.

This dump truck is powered by a huge 4.5-ton battery pack, comprising around 1,440 battery cells and as much as 700 kilowatt-hours of storage space. The truck is also designed such that the spacing between the battery cells is optimal so as to maximize performance but reduce the risk of fire.
