The $15,000 Edible Gingerbread Playhouse is 6 Feet of Sugary Fun

One of the joys of the holidays is to make gingerbread houses, but what about a Neiman Marcus Edible Gingerbread Playhouse? At 6.6 feet, this sugary treat is worth a whopping $15,000.

Made and designed by Manhattan candy shop Dylan’s Candy Bar - owned by Ralph Lauren’s daughter Dylan - the Edible Gingerbread Playhouse was inspired by none other than the 'Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory' film. Using 381 pounds of gourmet gingerbread and 517 pounds of icing, the delicious delectable outer shell is decked out with giant cookies, mints and gumdrops, gummies, candy encrusted roof and a lollipop tree inside.
