The Eddy Excavator is Small But Mighty

In a previous (construction) life, I would have loved to have one of these. The typical excavation equipment that is generally available is not only cumbersome but difficult to maneuver. The “Eddy” excavator is remotely operated and uses suction to remove debris and pump it out the rear. The small size of the "Eddy" excavator allows it to navigate through tight spots. This great invention is the brainchild of Maciej Puzon of 3Kant.

Implications - The world of construction is no longer the professional, male-dominated industry it used to be. Today, carpentry and contracting can be accomplished by anyone with some free time and so the good's offered in the market should compliment that reality. Ultimately, consumers will rally around the suppliers who invest in easy-to-use, safe power tools.
