Evil Bikes' Epocalypse E-Bike is Feature-Packed

'Evil Bikes,' the Seattle-based bicycle manufacturer, unveiled its latest flagship electric bike (e-bike) the 'Epocalypse.' The Epocalypse is an ultra-premium off-road mountain bike designed for difficult trails. At an MSRP of $12,000 USD, Evil Bikes ensures that the Epocalypse is capable of riding any off-road trail that any other bicycle can ride, and more.

The Epocalypse boasts a Shimano EP8 motor that outputs 85 Nm of torque and a max speed of 20 miles per hour. This motor is powered by a 630 Wh battery that achieves a massive range that Evil Bikes does not specify. This is due to the fact that the range will fluctuate greatly based on the level of pedal assistance the rider is using.

Aside from its core drivetrain, the Epocalypse has a premium suspension system with dual front forks with 170mm of travel and a rear shock with 166mm of travel, meaning it will weather even the bumpiest of trails comfortably. Lastly, the bike's carbon fiber frame makes it easy to carry and maneuver in off-road environments, when necessary.
