Eco-Friendly Jeans Finds a Sustainable Way to Make Pants

As more of society is becoming environmentally conscious, the realm of fashion is also doing their part to find green alternatives as these eco-friendly jeans can attest to.

Believe it or not, these jeans, which look and feel like the real material, are in fact made from 'wood' or rather from the eucalyptus plant. Making pants out of this material is more environmentally friendly because it avoids using the same process and chemicals that goes into the traditional process of production. Rather then using 42 liters of water and up to 15 dying vats, which contain harmful chemicals, the jeans are made from pulp of the eucalyptus tree. The pulp is then spun to create the appearance of cotton and is given the stone-washed look by using digital printing technology to print the the design onto the textile.

These incredible eco-friendly jeans are provide a splendid green alternative that will hopefully begin to attract big box retailers to follow suit.
