A team from Warwick University has developed a Formula 3 racecar built entirely out of sustainable materials. The body is made from potatoes and the steering wheel is made from carrots. Even the car’s lubricants are derived from fruit extracts and other organic substances.
If that’s not nutty enough, the team from Warwick decided to have the F3 racecar run on a fuel made from chocolate! Don’t be sucked in by this car’s green godliness and mistake it for a Prius—this bad boy can take corners at 140+ MPH. Unfortunately, the car will not make it to North America—chocolate is not an approved fuel here.
