Muuto Showcases Its Latest Electic Homeware by Nordic Creatives

For its Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, Danish brand Muuto invited a variety of Nordic designers, including Cecilie Manz, to create eclectic homeware and furniture. This includes skinny tables (the work of Manz), magnetic ceramic vases and easy-to-carry candlesticks.

The tables' surfaces are constructed out of a thin plywood material, which is supported by slim steel legs that complete its lithe, graceful silhouette. The 'Airy Side Tables,' as they are titled, are intended to be subtle, yet distinctive. In other words, the lightness of the table is not a substitute for a personality.

Other designs include the Fiber chair, a shell seat molded from wood fibers and recycled plastic, available in different colors and leather or fabric upholstery.
