Korean design duo THE:Zoom created an eccentric furniture design through a collection they named Project [ZIP:PER]. All pieces of furniture have been created to look like they are in place through their unzipped or half-zipped forms.
The zipper shape has been placed cleverly onto the furniture as a functional element, especially for the book case. The teeth of the zipper allow the books to be placed orderly, while creating an appealing visual element through the color contrast of books and the stark white furniture.
The entire collection has a psychedelic Alice in Wonderland feel to it and is a marvel furniture set for a surrealism enthusiast. This fascinating furniture collection includes a chair, bookcase and two shelves. The eccentric design takes nothing away from functionality.
