The Affair by Zoltan Csaki is Inspired by George Orwell's '1984'

The dystopian future fashion that makes up The Affair collection is not necessarily something people will associate with such a sci-fi concept. 'Mad Max' and 'The Walking Dead' are often what comes to mind first. Yet the book that this collection was inspired by is also as much of a classic, if not more. George Orwell's novel '1984' and the concept of Big Brother played a huge part in the design of the clothing.

First of all, the dystopian future fashion has a monotonous, workwear appeal to them. Secondly, it uses "police-grade shielding fabric that blocks all cell, WiFi, GPS and RFID signals to and from your phone, bank cards and passport—rendering you invisible to all overstepping authorities," reports Cool Hunting.
