Dirt Meal Campaigns

The Dyson Vacuum Enjoys Dusty Dishes in Latest Print Ads

The meals featured in the concept Dyson vacuum ad campaign may look far from appetizing to humans, but for this household machinery, it'll do just fine. A visualization of the tag line, "Dyson loves to eat," it shows dust and dirt piled neatly on a plate. This direction is clever considering that food photography has become a social phenomenon thanks to Instagram.

Conceived and executed by the Miami Ad School, which is based in San Francisco, California, the Dyson vacuum ad campaign features such dishes as the "Rainbow Rock Sorbet," which is made up of "mildew-sweetened aquarium rocks [m]ixed with broken glass, one used ice cream stick, and an assortment of lint." The Dyson vacuum concept campaign was art directed and photographed by Elton Rhee with copy by writer Mitchell Quesada.
