This Two-Wheeler's Motor Has a Permanent Interior Magnet

The announcement of the 'Bukk' electric motorbikes by Cake caused a significant stir not too long ago, but the lightweight motorbike manufacturer has now taken the curtains off the production version of the motorbike, which is now equipped with a new and improved electric drivetrain called the 'Jante.'

What's unique about this upgraded version of the motorbike is the fact that its Jante engine takes advantage of futuristic Internal Permanent Magnet motorization, which effectively translates to exceptionally reliable and energy-efficient performance that helps elevate low-weight e-motorbikes to a different level. The motor itself is water-resistant and durable, and is capable of offering around 368 pounds-feet of torque whilst also benefiting from air-cooling.

"After years of development, we have accomplished the truly most optimized IPM (interior permanent magnet) motor with radial flux for efficiency and power," stated Cake's CEO and founder Stefan Ytterborn. "The result is the most advanced air-cooled drivetrain in the industry, providing innovation in performance, low maintenance, and user experience, all to maximize performance in light off-road vehicles."
