Dance-Choreographing Keyboards

'Duality' Lets You Use Virtual Keyboards to Choreograph Dance Moves

Duality is an Intel-backed project, created by photographer and dancer Jesus Armand and 19-year-old developer Kyle Ryan, that makes it possible to choreograph dance moves by playing a virtual keyboard. The two creators had never meet each other prior to the project, and were simply equipped with Intel-powered devices and gives a mere 16 days to come up with something awesome.

The project takes on the form of an interactive website on which users can play a virtual keyboard that, instead of generating music, generates an animated GIF or video of dancers flaunting their dope moves.

Duality is a great example of how people from very different fields -- in this case, arts and technology -- can combine their powers to create something special.
