Papa John's is celebrating the release of Ghostbusters by bringing back its Dual Layer Pepperoni Pizza. While some brands have been promoting the new movie with black burgers and lime-green colored treats, Papa John's is taking a more indulgent approach.
The new XL Dual Layer Pepperoni Pizza is a 16-inch hand-tossed pizza comprised of two distinct layers. There is a single layer of deli-style pepperoni, which sits underneath an additional layer of pepperoni, cheese and Italian herb seasoning. To give the pizza a Ghostbusters-inspired twist, the dish is served inside a box that is branded with 'honorary Ghostbuster' Papa John in the iconic ECTO-1 vehicle.
As an added bonus, those who purchase a $25 ePapa Card will be gifted with a $5 Fandango gift certificate to use towards the purchase of any movie ticket.
