Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is Testing a Drone Delivery Service

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt has begun testing a drone delivery service to help offer those within a certain radius of its locations to receive delicious frozen treats whenever they want.

The new pilot program, codenamed 'Project Flying Orange Unicorn,' is currently taking place in Michigan and offering the service to Hope College students. The brand is creating the program to be in compliance with the U.S. Federal Aviation Authority guidelines when it comes to drone flight.

The drone delivery service from Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is capable of traveling at 30mph, carrying up to 30-pounds of weight and takes about 15-minutes (within one mile). The service is currently being offered by Holland's Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt location by appointment only.
