Rick Owens and Converse Drop DRKSTAR Chuck 70 In New Colors

DRKSHDW, a boutique fashion label owned by the iconic designer Rick Owens, has teamed up with footwear giant Converse to release more variations of their previously released DRKSTAR Chuck 70. The new launch will include a DRKSTAR Chuck 70 Hi in Black and a DRKSTAR Chuck 70 Low in White.

Borrowing elements from the design of SS14 Ramones, the DRKSTAR Chuck 70 comes equipped with extra-elongated tongues and inflated toe caps and bumpers. In addition, both pairs are made from a heavy-weight 18oz cotton twill construction, making these sneakers far more robust and textured than traditional Converse models.

For those interested, the Converse x DRKSHDW DRKSTAR collection will make its global retail debut on February 22, where it will be available on both Converse and Rick Owen's websites.
