Luxe Expanded Vintage Cabins

The Drifter Way House is a High-End Whistler Vacation Retreat

British Colombia-based Stark Architects expanded and renovated Drifter Way House, a vintage cabin that was originally built in the 80s -- transforming it into a modern and industrial Whistler ski retreat.

The new home now offers a three-bedroom suite for rental with an additional two bedroom structure on the side as well as the three-bedroom main building. Each building is tied together with a standing metal facade to present a contemporary warehouse-like appearance. The interior features white walls that were added to act as a gallery to the hand-picked pieces of artwork.

Set on a hillside, the new Drifter Way House takes advantage of its beautiful surroundings with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer expansive views of Blackcomb Mountain.
