Carnival Cruise's Dr. Seuss at Sea Brings Favorite Characters to Life

The Dr. Seuss at Sea cruise embraces children literature for a fun vacation this summer. Launched in February, 2014, with a full implementation by 2015, it brings the American writer's books and poems to life, showing children that a world of cats in hats, green eggs and greener Grinches can exist beyond the printed page.

Introduced by Carnival Cruise Lines, the participating Dr. Seuss at Sea ships will all have classic Dr. Seuss books, toys and themed activities as well as popular characters for photo opportunities and meet-and-greets. Chosen cruises will boast a Dr. Seuss Bookville center dedicated to Seuss-themed play, readings and games.

Dr. Seuss at Sea is in direct competition with Disney cruises and Royal Caribbean packages that center around popular DreamWorks characters like Shrek and Kung Fu Panda.
