Doomsday is ultra-portable, folding up into the shape of a robot that can be pulled like a hand truck. The panels for Doomsday are also coated in lead, which should provide some protection for yourself and your foodstuffs against the deadly radiation that is sure to be prominent during an apocalypse.
Even though it looks a little silly, I could really see something like Doomsday from Kacey Wong being of use during a nuclear disaster, as safe shelter and electricity are both in short supply in the aftermath of such events. The robot design may have to go, though. I would be scared out of my mind if I woke up next to a giant robot.
