Yoshitomo Nara's Doggy Radio Meshes Art and Music

The Doggy Radio looks like it's a cross between a pet puppy and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Absolutely adorable, it is hard to believe at first that it is anything but a piece of home decor. As its name suggests, the Doggy Radio tunes in to AM-FM frequencies.

Created by Japanese contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara, the Doggy Radio represents his love of music and art. When turned on, the red nose lights up. The nose also acts as the radio dial while underneath the pup's chin can the volume control be found. The Yamaha Lab sound system is found within the belly of the Doggy Radio.

Handmade out of plastic polymer, the Doggy Radio is available worldwide, although only 3,000 exist.
