3D-Printed Dog Wheelchairs

Trevor Byers Designed a Helpful Accessory for Legless Canines

Trevor Byers has designed a dog wheelchair that will tug at anyone's heartstrings. Conceived after adopting Bubbles, a Dachshund born without front legs, he wanted to create a way for her to enjoy running around as if she had all her legs. His dog wheelchair was the perfect solution -- one that he has decided to share with others through an Instructables page.

Created using 3D-printing technology, the dog wheelchair ensures that Bubbles and dogs like her aren't hampered by her disability. Byers writes, "She gets around in her cart better than any other small dog I have seen missing there front legs. Up and down hills and running through thick grass taller than her nothing slows her down."
