'Dog Trust' Lets Users Understand the Signs of Aggressive Canines

Developed to better the communication between humans and dogs, 'Dog Trust' is a VR program that accurately models a nervous dog's behavior and instructs humans on how to interact. Created by the Virtual Engineering Center, this unique program presents users with a large Labrador Retriever-looking dog that reacts as the user encroaches into its space. These reactions can range from nervous panting to other signs of fear and anxiety; such as licking its lips, yawning, panting harder, growling and even snarling.

Dog Trust was primarily developed for people who haven't spent much time around dogs and helps instruct proper etiquette when confronting an aggressive canine. Within this context, the user is completely safe to explore their own fears while also instructing users how to approach or avoid dogs showing these reactions.
