Flame Fueled Lighting

This DIY LED Candle Makes It OK to Play With Fire

There are some gizmos I come across in my travels that no matter which angle I look at them from, I cannot for the life of me figure out how they work. A perfect example of this is the DIY LED candle that produces illumination through flame.

Now obviously there’s not a lot to this device, but still, I have no idea how it’s done, my only conclusion…sorcery. Must be it. The cool thing is is that to turn off the light, you simply touch it with your fingers like you would snuff a candle. I may just have to hire the inventor of the DIY LED candle to install a device in my car that lets me turn on the headlights with a lighter.
