This Disney cosplay-tribute pits a warrior-version of Princess Ariel against the evil octopus villain Ursula in an epic underwater battle.
By definition, cosplay is the act of dressing up as characters from a movie to role play scenes form the film. Cosplay Mel Dee decided to give the Little Mermaid a warrior spin with this combatant dual between the alluring Ariel and the mischievous Ursula. Both the Ariel and Ursula costumes are an updated version of the ones featured in the Disney film redone in a military style. Ariel wears a pair of emerald green scale leggings, a blue sea-shell breast plate and holds a sharp, gold trident as a weapon. Ursula rocks a black and purple pointed skirt, silver arm cuffs and purple tribal tattoos down her back. Dee designed these costumes entirely by hand dedicating over 100 hours to sewing each piece.
