Created by Hakan Gürsu of Designnobis, Tentative has an extremely compact, flat-pack design and measures just 30 cm when unpacked. The award-winning structure reflects an enormous need. In 2013 natural disasters displaced 22 million people.
The disaster shelter is constructed from fiberglass shells and a quilted material that is durable, weather resistant and thermally insulated. The flooring is also insulated with recycled composite decks, while legs keep it off the cold ground. The roof collects water while offering light and ventilation too. The portable solution is suitable for a variety of climates and fits a family of four.
