Professional social networking company LinkedIn and note-taking software provider Evernote are teaming up to provide a new digitized business card service. The service allows LinkedIn members to scan business card using Evernote's fast and reliable mobile app to directly connect with a person on LinkedIn.
Evernote members will be able to view profile photos, job titles and other professional information from LinkedIn right in their Evernote interface. Meanwhile, LinkedIn members can enter comments related to scanned business cards and even geo-tag the location where the card was scanned.
Over time, you can even add supplementary material such as audio from meetings, documents and emails to the digitized business card's page in Evernote.
This digitized business card service is available for iOS, Mac and Windows platforms, with Android support also in the pipeline.
