Multimedia Mourning

This is a grave with a difference--digital tombstones allow you to add movies, images and pictures to a headstone. Rather than an old-fashioned inscription, you can play a video or a song. It’s multimedia social networking for graves.

Incidentally, making noise is against cemetery regulations in Germany, but the point is that they could play music if permitted to.

The idea came from Michael Koenigsfeld, a gardener in a cemetery in west Germany, where his aunt is also buried.
