Diederick Kraaijeveld Goes Against the Grain With His Reclaimed Wooden Art

This is definitely a wall-worthy wooden art collection that goes against the grain.

Diederick Kraaijeveld's wonderful wooden art is unique in that it is constructed completely out of reclaimed wood. Diederick collects these planks and pieces all over the world, especially in his native home of Holland. The pieces he collects are often very old, textured and colored, meaning he has a large variety of material options for his artwork.

Once he has all of his materials, he cuts the wood into puzzle-like pieces of varying sizes and shapes, and connects them to create arbor-art. Even though his artwork is beautifully crafted and unique, Diederick still finds it funny that customers pay money for it when he made it out of free "rubbish" wood.
