The Diana Balmor Garden Overflows the Balmao Jardin Garden Competition

If I had a glass full of garden (just go with me on this one) and accidentally spilled it (that, if you knew me, is not so far-fetched), I would have my very own Diana Balmori Garden. I could never be sure, but perhaps a spill is what inspired the Diana Balmori garden creation.

As part of the Bilbao Jardin 2009 International Urban Garden Competition, the Diana Balmori Garden pours down the steps of the Santiago Calatrava’s footbridge over the Nervión River. Although what I think of as a delightful accident, Balmori sees this as the "landscape taking over." Whichever way you decide to perceive it, I think we can all agree it is a winning garden.
