Dessert sushi is not typically a term that is thought of as appealing. However, at a rotating sushi bar in France, it is. The bar, called Planet Sushi, did not stick to the traditional sushi stigma that involves raw fish when it decided to make these 'Maki Nutella' rolls.
The modern takes on the maki roll are actually made up with Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread, coconut-flavored rice and are wrapped in a thin crepe. For added flavor, customers have the choice of to add bananas or strawberries into the delectable roll.
All in all, the rolls are essentially miniature crepes with a little Asian fusion. They are the perfect treat to finish off a sushi dining experience. All you will need is a little whip-cream!
