Banning Size Zero

US Considers "The Beauty of Health"

The Council for Fashion Designers of America may have gotten a wakeup call from Europe, where some governments are banning very, very thin models, the size zero. At London Fashion Week a model was actually told she was too thin and would not be allowed to model. The CFDA will host a panel discussion called "The Beauty of Health" at an upcoming confab. Ali Michael, a former anorexic who was turned down for being too fat, will be on the panel. It's been a long time coming, but it appears the U.S. fashion biz will get involved before the government does.
