It wasn't enough that we could design our own shoes -- now a new company, Preschoolians, is allowing parents to design footwear for their babies.
Parents have always taken pride in how they dressed their children, seeing their offspring as miniature extensions, even reflections, of themselves. Since adults are really into self-expression through DIY, it's logical that there would be a market for parents who want to design for their children too.
Preschoolians targets parents of toddlers and as the name implies, pre-school aged children.
They offer a selection of footwear for different stages, like Crawlers for indoor use, Walkers "for pulling up, cruising and walking," Runners and Adventurers "for even the most intense outdoor adventurer."
They can be designed for boys and girls, and for all seasons, allowing parents to design everything from pink summer sandals to green winter boots or even purple slippers.
Hey, if mom has fun designing her own shoes at Steve Madden, she'll probably love adding her flair to her little one's wardrobe too!
