Beki Reilly's Feminist Project Looks to Reclaim Derogatory Words

Beki Reilly is an illustrator and art director based in London, England, whose latest project aims to fight against the derogatory words people often use to describe female genitalia.

The project, which she shortens to an acronym with humorous intent, is titled 'Color Up Next Tuesday.' Currently on Kickstarter, Beki Reilly is hoping to garner enough funding to bring her adult coloring book to reality so that she can "reclaim ugly, derogatory words for the vagina by colouring them in and making them beautiful."

In order to do this, she includes 15 words that are likely to make their reader cringe with discomfort upon sight. Surrounding each are whimsical abstract designs that she invites consumers to color to their liking.
