The Derek Lam Resort 2013 series is a plethora of print and pleats.
Chinese-American designer Derek Lam presented a collection that was ingenious and superb. The staple of his resort 2013 showing was his giraffe print. It was a bold focal that wasn't too overbearing for the remainder of the pieces. Lam narrowed in on prints and how they are displayed. On one dress he used a collage striped pattern and left the back of it bare, making the viewer take a double take. He also introduced a meshing of leather and other textiles, the giraffe and a bomber jacket, the stripes and a red leather vest.
The Derek Lam Resort 2013 attire utilizes pleats, pockets, flaps and belting to showcase a collection converging materials, fit and an appealing print.
