Obscur SS 2009 Clothing for Dark and Gloomy Days

Swedish designer Richard Söderberg’s Obscur S/S 2009 collection says, "I feel dark and gloomy," to me, which no doubt is exactly how many people are feeling right now with the worldwide recession. 

The photos for Obscur’s 2009 line for men feature very sad and gaunt men wearing drab and wrinkly apparel.  It looks as though they rolled out of bed with the clothes they slept in and decided to go out into the world. Even the one white outfit is crinkled.

Clothes by Obscur are not mainstream by any means. However, they may appeal to those who are into Gothic fashion, those who want to be truly unique or even people who hate ironing.
