Delta Heavy's ‘Get By' Music Video Features Toys Bein

Stop-motion videos are already awesome, but when you add a Delta Heavy track and old school kid’s games, they become infinitely awesome.

Delta Heavy’s new music video for the song ‘Get By’ is a violent mash-up of childhood games being taken to task. The video takes place in what appears to be a butcher shop, and takes the viewer through the destruction of countless retro games. Staggering and shocking, the clip is bizarrely appealing and features a rainbow of colorful toys. The destruction of the rubik’s cube is particularly satisfying for viewers like myself who have been rendered helpless by the geometric challenge.

Complete with a very creepy version of what appears to be ‘Guess Who,' this video is obviously targeted toward kids from the 90s, who will instantly recognize the featured ill-fated toys. Exhausting to create, this video is a shining example of how stop-motion video can depart from the often whimsically cute style viewers are used to.
