Student-Funded Enterprise Competitions

The Dell Social Innovation Challenge Supports Entrepreneurs

The Dell Social Innovation Challenge (DSIC) is a competition for young people and students in order to transform early-stage ideas into the real deal. Through a contest format that is going through it's semi-finalist round at the moment, winners get training, capital and a wide network of mentors to draw from.

The ideas themselves range from food and sustenance and education to economic development and energy to health and human rights. Many of the organizations, of course, meld a number of causes.

The Dell Social Innovation Challenge has been around since 2007 and it was in 2008 that Dell became a sponsor.
