Australian designer Simon Williams’ Deliver-E Trike is an emission free, cost-effective and efficient electric three-wheeler that has been designed especially for postal workers.
The uniqueness of the bike lies in its "two rear swing arms [that] pivot independently, allowing the vehicle to lean into turns and stand upright when parked at the side of a sloping road," according to Gizmag. The all-terrain Deliver-E Trike has two electric engines in the front and one on its rear wheels; its special pivoting rear swing-arm lock gives the rider an option to lock the bike in any position and on any terrain.
The 120 kg trike goes at a speed of 80 kmph and is powered by a lithium-ion battery. Simon Williams is planning to put the Deliver-E Trike into production once he finds an investor.
