Seatless Decorative Chairs

Clark Bardsley Created Chair Arms to Transform Any Everyday Seat

Clark Bardsley designed 'Arm' to make traditional seats into modern decorative chairs. The piece has been termed an "anti-chair" as it is not actually functional for the purposes of sitting, however has the general appearance of one, minus the seat and back support.

With this, Arm clearly isn't made for the purposes of comfort or functionality, rather, it was made to celebrate a sense of humor in design. Its made from bent oak wood that allows for the arms and back to flow and add to its minimalist and whimsical look. The decorative chair can fit over any traditional one, giving it a unique element and making it into something entirely new. This includes things from office furniture, to benches, to rocks or even a large tree root in the ground. Photo Credits: designboom, clarkbardsleydesign
