The Dazed Magazine The Collections Photoshoot is Muted and Faded

The Dazed Magazine The Collections editorial is a part of the publication's Spring 2014 issue. Model Hanne-Gaby Odiele is the focus of the production which was overseen by photographer Harley Weir. In each shot, Weir worked with a muted theme as the images were cast in faded lighting.

Stylist Elizabeth Fraser-Bell challenged the faded finished of The Collections with a bright floral motif. Dresses, shirts and skirts were dotted with both small and large blossoms, a choice that is certainly well-suited to springtime.

Although Fraser-Bell did focus on prim flowers, the photoshoot is nonetheless dark in both shading and mood. Odiele is found sprawled on the floor with legs jutting out in different directions, making it seem as if she fell accidentally.
