The David Mach 'Matchheads' Series Will Light Up Rooms

Artist David Mach has created some highly flammable pieces of art for a collection titled 'Matchheads.' These incredibly beautiful and intricate sculptures are made almost entirely out of multicolored match sticks.

In the Matchhead series, Mach has created several different works that vary greatly, from iconic figures to animals. These pointillism-inspired pieces really light up a room, not just because of their flame quality but because of all of the psychedelic colors Mach uses.

Some of the sculptures include famous faces like Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, the devil and Betty Boop. As well, he has created detailed animal faces of tigers, lions, cheetahs and horses.

These are pretty amazing pieces of art, and are definitely worth checking out.
