Paper-Cut Silhouette Scenes

The David A. Reeves Action Vignettes are Wonderful

Designer and photographer David A. Reeves has put together a great collection of paper cut-out silhouettes that he makes in his private home studio. These intricate and creative works of art play out various scenes involving characters such as cowboys and zombies to samurai warriors and dark wooded death scenes.

Each of the scenes that David photographs is compiled in various layers of black construction paper that he has meticulously laid out to create a sense of depth in the photographs. Vast fields and grass, mountain ranges, forests and deserts are all used to create the depth of field that helps to add to the environment that David is aiming for.
