Danish Supermarket's Controversial Ad for Siemens

Here we go again, the controversial dilemma of whether sex really sells or if it detracts when it comes to advertising. The latest bold online campaign from Denmark? It has dozens of topless women parachute jumping out of a plane to form a message in the sky.

That message advertises - wait for it - a Siemens washing machine.

The Danish chain of supermarkets, Fleggaard, is the sponsor of the ad. As a result, it is increasing their web traffic tremendously, up from 2,000 before to 40,000 visitors per day.

They probably would agree that for them, even if it doesn’t seem remotely relevant to their merchandise, sex certainly DOES indeed sell! Be warned, the video is pretty graphic!
