The Damien Hirst Anatomy of an Angel Piece is Now Collectible

For the first time, the Damien Hirst Anatomy of an Angel sculpture, modeled after Alfred Boucher's ‘L'Hirondelle,’ can be purchased by the public and used to decorate private homes.

With the new series of limited edition figurines, you can get your own version of the hauntingly beautiful piece of artwork and, as another first, the figurine also comes in a black version, giving us a more dramatic perspective of the classic angel. As in the original statue, a segment of skin is missing, exposing the cranial structure and strikingly human innards of the angel, serving to add a Gothic yet also scientific appeal to the otherwise pristine figurines.

The black and white resin castings of Damien Hirst Anatomy of an Angel figurines come in either a black or white box.
