These Pieces of Cyclist Art Turns the Seat into Creatures

This cyclist art is of a very rare variety. The form of the art is simplistic and rather than being about bicycles or cyclist culture, it simply uses the form of the seat to create bike-themed creatures.

Clem Chen is the creator of this vicious and inspired cyclist art, which was entered for the the ‘ASIA AWARDS 2013.' The design is simple as it uses both a basic black bike seat for the base and added characteristics to personify it.

The models were made by cutting open the bike seat and then inserting various fillings into the spots. One named 'bite it' features sharp teeth using taxidermy molds and another entitled 'pink eye' features a long eye in the middle made of the same.Photo Credits: designboom, clemchen
