The Cubex 3D Printer by Cubify Can Produce a Basketball

The CubeX 3D Printer is the latest product revealed by Cubify at the 2013 Consumer Electronic Show (CES). Last year around the same time, the company unveiled the Cube 3D Printer, which targeted a consumer-based market rather than a business one. The CubeX 3D Printer does the same, but on a larger level. Essentially, it is able to print out larger objects. Specifically, as big as basketballs.

Available in three models, the CubeX 3D Printer will be able to print up to three different colors at once. It uses multiple materials as well, including the industrial-grade ABS plastic for extreme durability and functionality and PLA plastic for high precision, fine detail and soluble support for ease-of-use.

The CubeX 3D Printer was awarded the People's Voice Award and Best Emerging Tech Award at CES.
